Q.How will Billy Sims BBQ ship my order?
A.Billy Sims BBQ is slow smoked using his legendary recipes and quickly frozen and shrink-wrapped to seal in all of the natural juices and flavor.
All of our products are shipped directly to your door in reusable, thick-walled foam coolers, that are packed with dry ice to ensure your order arrives fresh-frozen and ready to thaw, heat and eat.
Your meats may have thawed during shipment depending on the weather the day they're delivered. Even after the dry ice has evaporated, your smoked meats should still be cold to the touch.
All packages (except gift certificates) follow shipping dates as provided by FedEx. Billy Sims BBQ ships to all physical addresses in the continental United States, and are shipped ‘No Signature Required’.
As a bonus, every order of Billy Sims BBQ will also come with a free 20 oz. bottle of your choice of Billy Sims BBQ Sauce.
Q.What Carrier will be shipping my order?
A.FedEx is our exclusive shipping agent due to their outstanding service and reliability.
Q.Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?
A.Sorry, No. We are unable to ship to P.O. boxes.
Q.Do you ship outside the continental U.S.?
A.Sorry, No. Unfortunately, customs regulations and long distance shipping create issues beyond our control.
Q.How will I know the arrival date of my order?
A.All orders will be shipped within 3-5 business days from the order date and will be shipped by FedEx 1-Day or 2-Day Express. See the charts below for order cut off dates
You will receive an email when your order is shipped. You can track your orders by using our FexEx order tracker.
Because your BBQ will be shipped flash frozen, packages cannot be in transit during the weekend. To avoid product spoilage, orders placed after 11AM Central Standard Time (CST) on Thursday will not be shipped until the following Monday.
Also, check the shipping tables below. We will make every effort to adhere to this schedule as closely as possible. However, heavy shipping dates, three-day weekends, adverse weather conditions and unforeseen circumstances may create delays and exceptions.

A.Our shipping costs are based on the value of your order (which closely correlates to the shipping weight of your order). Please review the table below for specific costs:

Q.Do you require a signature when the order is delivered?
A.No, all of our packages are shipped "No Signature Required".
However Since our smoked meat items are perishable, it is very important that orders be shipped to locations where someone will be present on the day of delivery. If no one is present, FedEx will leave the package at the delivery address.
Q.My order is a surprise. Will you contact the recipient and ruin my surprise?
A.Sorry but, unfortunately, we have to.
If the recipient's e-mail address is provided we will notify them that a package is on the way, but we will not divulge specifics. We will also send you a notification of the order status. Your recipient's phone number is also required in case FedEx needs to contact them during delivery.

Q.Do Billy Sims BBQ ribs come with sauce on them?
A.No! Billy smokes them Oklahoma style with no sauce. This allows you to add our Boot Kickin' hot or Original BBQ sauce to make them just like you like them!
We slow smoke our ribs in our Southern Pride® smokers. This ensures a perfectly flavored, moist, rack of ribs. The process enhances the flavors to produce that prefect smokey flavor that won Billy Sims and the crew best overall in "The Art of BBQ Competition - 2008"
Q.Is Billy Sims BBQ brisket sliced?
A.No! To ensure best flavor and tenderness, we've left the brisket whole so you can slice it on the table and add your favorite sauce.
Slicing a brisket requires a certain technique. To achieve a tender cut brisket, the brisket is cut "across the grain" in thin slices. Our crew has taken all the guesswork out of this process and included a slicing guide with every order to help you serve that perfect tender brisket!
Q.Do the briskets come with sauce on them?
A.Our briskets are smoked in our pits until they are fully cooked and do not include any Bar-B-Q sauce.
However, your order will be shipped with a free bottle of sauce that you can apply during the reheating process. Basting your brisket will continue to moisten the brisket and bring out all the unique sweet spicy flavors you've come to expect from Billy Sims BBQ.
Q.Where Can I Find Billy Sims BBQ Sauces?
A.You can have Billy Sims BBQ flavors at home with our unique BBQ sauces. Billy Sims BBQ Sauces are available in major retail stores in the great state of Oklahoma, are available online and at our many Oklahoma locations. Q.Is your BBQ already cooked?
A.Yes! All of our meats are fully cooked and ready to heat and eat.
Q.Can I refreeze my brisket, ribs, etc?
A.That Depends
If your shipment arrives frozen or partially frozen (most common) and you plan to use them within five days, you can place them in the freezer until that time. If your smoked meats are already thawed when you receive them, we recommend you don't refreeze them.
According to the USDA:
"You may safely refreeze frozen foods that have been thawed if they still contain ice crystals or are still below 35° F." Refreezing partially thawed foods can reduce the quality of the product, especially its flavor and texture.
Q.How long after I receive my order do I have to reheat my BBQ meats?
A.We recommend you cook your BBQ items within five days if you've stored them in the refrigerator. Items that arrived frozen and are stored in the freezer should remain fresh for up to 6 months with minimal loss of flavor.
We recommend you cook them within that time frame to preserve the taste and texture you've come to know and enjoy.
Q.How much should I order per person?
A.Suggested serving portions, when served with other side dishes:
- One full slab of Billy's St. Louis style ribs will feed 2 to 3 people
- 1 pound of brisket will feed 2 to 3 people
- 1 pound of pulled pork will feed 2 to 3 people
Remember that these are just guidelines. If you're feeding the whole hungry team, or you're planning for big eaters, order a little more than you calculate with this guide to make sure you have enough for a full meal. Billy's BBQ is great as leftovers or in a sandwich as a snack
Q.Do I get BBQ sauce with my order?
A.Of Course!
Every order of Billy Sims BBQ comes with a 20 oz. bottle of his legendary Original BBQ sauce. Extra bottles of both his Original and Spicy sauces can be added with your order, or you can order a three pack of sauce separately.

Q.I have a nut allergy. Do any of your products contain nuts?
A.No. Billy Sims BBQ products do not contain any nut products. They are however, produced in a commercial kitchen where other food items are prepared, including some menu items that may contain nuts.
Q.Do any of your products contain gluten?
A.No. Billy Sims BBQ meat products and BBQ sauces do not contain any gluten.
